I got this crazy idea the other day, as I was just laying in bed thinking about it for a while now. Since Sims 3 is set in the past, why doesn't anyone start doing our favourite Strangetown characters in the past? Well, Joe says its hard to use the CAS in Sims 3 to get them right. But I thought I'd start with my favourite Strangetown family, The Grunts!


Staying consistent a little with Unsolved, General Rock, the Grandfather of Buzz Grunt is alive for this project. *Sighs* time does soften a person up as if Rock were real, I would have loved to have met a man like him in real life.


General Chip Grunt, what's to say, ruinous commander!


Missy Grunt, Actually, I think I did a good job with her, but this would be before the beating shown in episode 6 of Unsolved/Epiosode 2 of Conspiracy, as in the cannon of Unsolved, Missy died after the beating.

Continuing my project, you need this one, The Vandermorgans, Lylas family.\

I don't have a picture of Lyla yet, but it seems that the time progression is going well as Buzz and Lyla are already in love.


Anyways, I'm not sure how close I am to the story of the Vandermorgans, based off of the Sims pics I saw of the parents, but looking at the pictures, I started thinking that Lyla had rich Parents. So this one also comes with a huge mansion.

I've got something for you guys that might alter the past a little, my SimFamily in the past!
I should explain something though. Kinda notice that when I have pics of my SimFamily, or in my films you don't see my entire family? There's a reason for that actually. You don't see my SimFather in my films or my Sisters as well, they're always either busy or off somewhere, and truth be told, I am kind of ashamed of my father for having an affair... The only people I love to add to my films really are my Mother and my Grandfather, as I am close to them, or was with my Grandfather. And besides that, the rest of my family doesn't even care about my films...


My Grandfather, Vincent Lopane. He was wearing a similar outfit that he was buried in, but to my knowledge, he wasn't a mobster or anything. Hey, I'd wear pinstripes if I could, because they look SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!


My Mother, Gwen. She has been there for me all of my life so I made a Sim in her likeness.


SimGuy isn't bald or has a shaved head when he is young. You do not need SimGuy for this one.

Disclaimer: Adding this family to the past of Strangetown may alter reality in a way, but it doesn't in my game.


Buzz seems to get along with me nicely.

This is turning out to be a great project thus far from what I can tell!  And I don't think it would disrupt the past to have the Lopane family in this neighbourhood either, as the game will still generate homeless folk (yes they don't call them townies in this game, but they are generated nonetheless), and all those generated townies would cause problems all on their own.

Continuing the project so I can get my mind off of what's going to happen, I thought I'd now share the Curious Household!


Big thanks to joe for showing me pics of Glarn and Kitty Curious as that really helped me with this.

As you can see, Vidcund and Lazlo are young as I think me keeping this in close context of Conspiracy for some of this project and Unsolved as well will work.

Well, while I was at it with the Curious family, I thought I'd also add PT#9 in his prime. I know that Lola and Chloe was raised by a lady named Glabe, how she's related to the Curious family, not sure, so assuming this is still going on, I added PT#9 in his prime. After hearing what Joe told me about PT#9 having red hair and not blond, I fixed him accordingly.
